We searched NYC for a variety of subway musicians to unite for a live experiment. We stationed them at 9 different subway stops with WiFi and, uncertain if we'd succeed, had them simultaneously connect to composer Ljova in Bryant Park. He attempted to conduct them in a performance of his original composition "Signal Strength." If you happened to walk by one of the musicians, you would've only heard his or her part. Only in this video (and in the studio recording on Ljova's Soundcloud) can you hear all the parts together. The musicians were not stopped by the NYPD.
